Reflecting Christ through love, service, and sacrifice, Two Pennies’ mission is “To honor God-given dignity in individuals by helping them discover and fulfill God’s purpose and potential for their lives.” Its vision is “To transform communities into vibrant centers that glorify God through our relationships with individuals.” Two Pennies strives to deepen relationships, create disciples and enrich lives at orphanages, schools, churches, and villages in Ghana, West Africa.
The concept of Two Pennies ministry comes the Bible in Luke 21. Christ spoke about a widow to his disciples. Christ said that she had given more than all the rest because they gave out of their wealth, while she gave sacrificially. In Scripture she remains anonymous, but her story has been used throughout the centuries as an example of the heart of giving.
Two Pennies was founded in 2012 and as of 2021 has been blessed to take fourteen journeys to Ghana, having the privilege of working with amazing people there who share their vision to see lives transformed. Through their partners, they’ve had the blessing of watching lives change and had the joy of being blessed in so many ways, loving and helping to guide others in their own life journeys.
