Administer Justice’s Statement of Faith includes the following: We believe justice for the poor and vulnerable is a prominent theme in the Bible. We believe Jesus demonstrated justice in his life, ministry, and teaching as an example for all to follow.

Founded in Elgin in 2000 by Bruce Strom, Administer Justice has since grown into the Gospel Justice Initiative, serving in justice centers in sixteen states across the country. In addition to legal assistance, they offer a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic in Elgin. Bruce has been a pioneer in challenging the church in the United States to seek justice for the vulnerable in our society.

Administer Justice represents the church at work in community service. Through a comprehensive program of education outreach, legal assistance, financial counseling, and conflict resolution service, Administer Justice empowers the powerless, gives hope to the hopeless, and shows mercy and compassion through Christ-centered, biblical counsel. They work towards empowering vulnerable neighbors with the help of a lawyer and the hope of God’s love.
