The Mission Team of First Baptist Church of Elgin strives to fulfill the Great Commission by promoting, supporting, and encouraging local, national, and international missionaries and mission activities. The Team desires to encourage those who follow Christ in missions-related endeavors and offers a small scholarship program.
As funds are available, applications are accepted for scholarships or grants towards the cost of these activities. This may include mission-related schooling, conferences, short-term mission trips, one-time special gifts to ongoing mission work, or other related projects. Individuals may apply for financial scholarships towards the cost of these educational and service programs.
Any funds awarded will be submitted directly to the educational institution or missions organization according to their requirements. Awards are made at the sole discretion of the Missions Team and as funds are available. Applications should be submitted 60 days in advance of need.
