Step It Up Ministry’s mission is to show God’s love and care to the children in our community by helping them “Step It Up” with a new pair of tennis shoes as they start back to school each fall. They have been active since 2010. Although distribution occurs in August, there are many months of planning and preparation, often involving fun and games for the whole church in the midst of fund raising activities and acquiring shoes. Prayer covers every pair of shoes, every child who will wear them, and their families.
